The challenge of transforming a 5,000-square-foot former winery into a contemporary brewpub was an exciting opportunity for the East Wind Construction team. Our goal was to create a space that streamlines the brewing and culinary processes while simultaneously offering a welcoming environment for customers.
The scope of the project encompassed a complete overhaul of the existing structure, revamping the public spaces to create a warm and inviting atmosphere, and incorporating state-of-the-art equipment into the kitchen facility to support Voodoo Brewing’s commitment to quality and efficiency.

For those unfamiliar, an ANSUL system is an advanced fire suppression system specifically designed for professional restaurant environments with high-risk cooking equipment, such as ovens, stoves, grills, and fryers. This system is critical in ensuring the safety of both the staff and patrons by effectively managing fire risks associated with commercial cooking operations.
Due to an unforeseen circumstance, we had to undertake a last-minute remodel to accommodate the ANSUL system. This challenge demanded swift action and adaptability from our team; however, we managed to integrate the system without disrupting the project timeline.
